Without the option to do photography for a story about the dangers that lurk while hiking in the SouthEast… I (we) decided to go the Illustration route. We hired Matt McClane to do some illustrations based on the art direction that I had given him. This article turned out to be a pretty nice piece. The only odd thing is that it starts on a right read. Sorry the image on the first slide is huge due to the single page layout.
