Pardee Hospital “Take Time, Take Charge” Poster

This is another poster design I did for Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville, North Carolina. The poster is for a women’s event. The entire poster was created in vector and brought to photoshop for some minor distressing.

City Guide Logo

This logo is for the Chattanooga Visitor’s Bureau. It is for a monthly publication showcasing the goings on in Chattanooga. It is a one color design intended for color change each month depending on the color palette for the isue as well as the featured front page photograph. The logo is all vector and hand-drawn except for the font. The font is Stamp.

The second image is a mock up of what the cover could look like. This is now in the hands of the CVB. I’ll wait to see how much of my design they keep.

Life Expo Building Banner

Yep, Betty White is coming to Chattanooga and headlining at the Life Expo. This is a 15′ x 28′ banner on the Chattanooga Times Free Press building. I also did 2 Billboards and a host of other collateral for the event.

Independence Day Ad

Here is a house ad that I did for CTFP. The goal was to create a vintage styled newspaper ad that may have been run in the 40′s I nearly despise “clip art”, but in this case it worked and worked well. The ad ran in the newspaper and the size was 10.5″ wide X 21.5″ tall.

Jodi at the Ocoee

While taking some shots for Crescent, I caught Jodi with her feet in the water looking as cute as could be. I couldn’t resist the shot and it turned out to be a nice one. This is actually the first shot in the Photography Section of the portfolio.

Highpoint Restaurant

These are 3 ad concepts I had done for a finer reastaurant in Monteagle TN. The High Point Restaurant has a pretty cool story actually. I am pretty happy with all 3 designs and the HP guys seemed to like the middle concept best as that’s the one they went with.

Dancing with the Stars

Believe it or not… there is a local version of Dancing with the stars. However, the stars are local personalities like news anchors and doctors. Nonetheless, I was asked to do some large format art. The 2 pieces shown above were to be placed on the corner of the Tivoli Theater in Chattanooga where the competition was to take place.

This was not the final design… but it was the best and this is the one I’m “proud” to show.

I do not get the opportunity to do a strictly typographic design often, but this lent itself to doing just that. Also as a side note; I had nothing to do with that logo.

The banners or displays are 84″ wide by 52″ tall.
